It's not "exploring gender identity" or "crossing gender boundaries". It's men dressing up and acting like the most insulting caricatures of women possible. And then associating themselves with trans people. See the "Female or Shemale" segment. It was a meme. The only official promo featuring all the queens is where they're standing side by side, obviously photoshopped next to each other. Can't say for definite but yah I THINK it was legit... There was nothing like it on tv.
